Paths lesson

We learnt about Mother Teresa. She was a Nun.She lived in Calcutta. I hear you ask where Calcutta is? Well it is in India. She really wanted to help people from illness. She made a school for children , and all she had was a old stick! People donated a cupboard, a chair and a table.  She had a problem and she solved it.

We then thought of problems we sometimes have and made up a drama to show the problem and how we could solve it. 

Looking after someone who'd been hurt - they are in hospital and being looked after.

This is what we have been learning about balanced food diet.This is a food diet that you should not have to much of.

There are 2 types of carbohydrates.These are:

starches or sugar and they both give you energy. 

                                                 

 We were trying to guess what products are in a millionaire shortbread.

Our school Easter hunt

This is our school doing an Easter egg hunt on a Friday at the end of term just before Easter. We had to collect eggs and put them in boxes, we had to see who collected the most - boys or girls.  The girls definitely won! 

Everyone is rushing around to find as many Easter eggs as they can.

She's seen one! Can she get to it before anyone else?

 

Mr. Dean is laying an egg! Thomas & Adam are running to find more eggs.

Chestnut Class Nature Club

we are meeting our first slug!

Save the world with nature club!

Nature club helps wildlife do you want to join, well you are very welcome! We want as many members as we can. We are only allowed 20 members.


We are clearing path to get to more wildlife, we are hoping to find a lizard. There is one rule of nature club 'Love wildlife and not hate it'. There is something else about nature club, there are strikes what they are is if you kill any wildlife you get a strike, if you get 3 strikes you are out.

Morley school council have decided that PACT is one of the charities they will support this year.  It a charity to help look after animals.  

Dance and music in Chestnut Class

When we were dancing to music we really enjoyed it.

This is Louis, Sam and Layton. They are all dancing and in the backround there is Miss Peck smiling. We all enjoyed it when Miss Peck was here . 

If everyone did this every day at school then we wouldn't even have time for Maths or English.

This is Tabby, Hannah, Brooke and Bella dancing a  routine with all the steps to a song or dance . There is the Instrumental part where most people did a type of instrument  . There is another part of the dance  called the bridge where most people did bridges.
